World History

The World History course will provide a study of man's development from the Age of Enlightenment through contemporary history.

 

The course will emphasize the causes and consequences of various historical events including the Industrial Revolution, World War I and World War II, as well as area studies of China, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

 

The World History course meets the SMCJUHSD requirement for graduation and the UC/CSU entrance requirement "G" as a college preparatory elective.
