United States History

The United States History course provides a comprehensive overview of United States history that meets the intent of the California State Content Standards. 

 

The course will emphasize the analytical skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal with the problems and materials of in-depth study.  Essay writing and critical thinking skills are emphasized.

 

The United States History course meets the SMCJUHSD requirement for graduation and the UC/CSU entrance requirement "G" as a college preparatory elective.
