Community Hours Deadline
Seniors!  Community hours deadline is May 24th.  Please don't hesitate to turn in your hours to Mrs. Aguirre in the library.  
  • Chalone Peaks:  April 6th from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.
  • Spring Carnival:  April 13th from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Greenfield, Community Center
  • San Ardo Elementary:  April 30th from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. see Mrs. Aguirre in library for sign in sheets for all activities.
  • Family Art Night on April 4th at Arroyo Seco Academy starting at 4:45 P.M. to 6:45 P.M.

Looking for something fun to do this Spring Break?
Join the Greenfield Science Workshop on its annual winter camping trip go play in the show, learn how to sled and snowboard, take part in epic snowball fights, or just chill next to a giant bonfire.  Sign up at the Greenfield Science Workshop main building.  All high schoolers are welcome.  Limited spots available!  Thank you!

John Steinbeck Writing Award
Dear Greenfield High School Juniors and Seniors,
Who will be the first student to win the John Steinbeck Writing Award and $750 prize?  Second place is $500 prize and the third place winner $350 prize.  Put your pen to paper and get your ideas formulated to write on the topic why read John Steinbeck!  The National Steinbeck Center is waiting to read your ideas ABOUT THE RELEVANCE OF READING STEINBECK TODAY!  Essays are due on March 29th.  Please contact Mrs. Meyer if you have any questions at bmeyer@greenfield.k12.ca.su

PBIS Winners
Congratulations to the months PBIS winners:  Xavier Leon, Juan Picasso, Jonathan Toledo, Jorge Rojas, Sema Alwasheem, Jazman Medrano, Audryana Sarah Ramirez, Jordan Fitzpatrick, Jonathan Garcia & Stephanie Aguayo.  Please come to the office at lunch to collect your prize. 

Food Fair
Hey Bruins, are you guys tired of eating the same lunch food?  Well on April 5th we will be having a Food Fair during lunch.  There will be foods such as elote, fruit cups, agua fresca, and much more!  If you want to buy anything at the fair, make sure to exchange your money for tickets at the leadership booth in front of Bruno.  $1 equals a ticket.  Don't miss out!

Prom King & Queen 
Applications are now available before school and after school on room 206.  Completed applications are due Wednesday, April 24th by 2 P.M.  There will be a mandatory meeting for all candidates, Thursday, April 25th at lunch in room 206.  

Debate Team
Last Friday and Saturday 16 members of the Greenfield High School Debate Team competed at the Santa Clara University Invitational.  Approximately 1200 students competed from 95 schools and 4 countries.  Greenfield High School was well represented for the first time at a major tournament.  Each student competed in 5 debates over the 2 days.  Greenfield High School won 15 matches.  Congratulations to Freshman Alina Ramirez who won 3 matches.  The following students had 2 wins each:  Brisa Diaz, Daniel Moraes, Erica Martinez and Adrian Martinez.  We should be very proud of all our classmates who went on this trip and competed for our school.  Our team is looking forward to bigger things next year.  

Physics Club
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd during lunch in Mr. Barge's room.

Early Dismissal
Attention Staff and GHS Varsity baseball early dismissal for Tuesday, April 2nd contest at 1:45 P.M., vans leave at 2 P.M.  Do not be late!

Grad Night
Your final Grad Night payment is due Wednesday, April 10th.  Ms. Cisneros will be in her room 306, after school to take your payments.  Six Flags:  Here we come!  

Reminder to attend orientation during 7th period in the Student Union, Friday, April 5th.  Only if you haven't done the online orientation.  See Ms. Sanchez for a pass during lunch.

Saturday School
Please meet in front of the gate before 8 A.M.  You must bring school work with you to Saturday School, and complete assignments in order to receive credit for attending.
