It’s Taco Tuesday! During lunch today, Tacos el Viejon will be selling delicious food to Off Campus Lunch students and GHS staff. Students, please remember: NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED ON SITE.

Vamos a La Playa take 2 Prom 2022 Saturday, April 30th, 2022. At the Monterey Beach House. Check the Prom 22 Microsoft Team for more information. Prom tickets must be paid in full by April first. Payments can be made at lunch Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays in room 206 with Mrs. Cortes

Did you miss the deadline to make a prom deposit, well, you are in luck. There are still a few seats left. Reserve your seat with a nonrefundable nontransferable deposit at lunch with Mrs. Cortes. If the Juniors and Seniors do not fill up the bus at the end of this week, the seats will be opened to sophomores and then freshmen next week. You need to reserve your seat ASAP! You can do this in room 206 at lunch or after school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of this week. Vamos a La Playa Take 2 Prom 2022

Saide Hawkins Dance is Friday, February 25th in the Student Union Doors open at 5:45pm. You must have a valid GHS ID and facemasks are required at all times. Tickets are now available for five dollars with a leadership student sale end February 18th. Entry at the door will be ten dollars.

The next Saturday School will take place this Saturday, February 19th from 8am to 12pm. Make sure you show up on time because the gate will close at 8am and if you’re late, you will not be let in. You are required to bring schoolwork with you to stay busy for 4 hours. You will be able to clear one unexcused absence or 8 tardies for serving Saturday School, but understand that priority is given to clearing unexcused absences. Be sure to report to the front gate by the Administration office when you arrive.

Seniors, upload senior photos directly to the yearbook through TreeRing! Link in the bio of @ghsyrbk2122 (Read on Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday’s) Student’s check your Counseling Teams and your chat! Your counselor will be posting important information regarding Credit Recovery and Registration.

Seniors, you can continue to make payments for Grad-Nite with Ms. Sanchez during lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Payments must be made in full by February 17th.

Please wish the Competitive Speech and Debate team good luck at the Forensic University Classic Tournament next week.

Attention AP students if you registered for AP exams, it is time to start making your payments. Remember that you must pay $5 per exam that you are taking. Payments can be made before school, during lunch, or after school with Ms. Rodriguez in room 508 or with Ms. Sanchez in the main office. All payments must be complete by the end of March. Reach out if you have any questions!

FFA Members, FFA Week starts next Tuesday! The dress up days are as follows: Tuesday, Cowboys vs. Aliens with an afterschool tie-dye activity. On Wednesday it’s Pjs and Boots Day with a petting zoo at lunch. On Thurs., it’s Anything but a backpack (Aggie Edition) with Kiss the Pig at lunch and dodgeball competition after school (which FFA Members and friends can participate as long as one of your friends is in FFA). On Friday, wear your FFA Gear then roast s’mores at our FFA Meeting at 5:30pm. More info is posted on our Instagram and YouTube @greenfieldffa.

Attention FFA Members! Staff members that are going to be fundraising for Kiss the Pig for FFA week will soon have a jar sitting on their desk for donations. The staff member that receives the most money raised will kiss the pig at lunch. The staff members that are signed up are: Ms. Ferderber, Mrs. Schierer, Ms. Gray, Alfredo, Ayala, Ms. Stapf, Mrs. Villaseñor, Mr. Villaseñor, and Mrs. Councilman. Donate to the teacher you want to kiss the pig!

ETS permissions slips for UC Berkeley are due Thursday February 17 afterschool in Room 508
