CLASS OF 2021 PANTHER PREP PLEDGE IS HARTNELL COLLEGE YOUR NEXT STEP AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?  IF SO, COMPLETE THE STEPS TO SUCCESS NOW!  

There are multiple steps, do not wait until the last minute. All steps are due MARCH 2nd.  All students who plan to enroll at Hartnell must complete.   
The following Steps to Success:   
Completion of Hartnell College Application for Admissions 
Completion of Online New Student Orientation (in P.A.W.S. student portal) 
Completion of Placement Tool for English and Math 

Additionally, you will want to set up your official Hartnell College email account. 
It is extremely important that you apply for Financial Aid by March 2, 2021

Counselor’s Corner 
Students please be aware that the counseling team will be working on registration for the 2021 2022 academic school year for our current students starting next week. We will be doing our initial information presentations during your English classes (shout out to the English Department for their support!) however, starting February 5th-26th we will be pulling each student for blocks of 10-15 minutes from all classes. Counselor's will be putting your appointment times on your Teams calendar so please be on the lookout for that. We ask that you are on time to your registration meeting completely prepared. If you miss your meeting, we will have to choose your classes for you. See you all soon!

Do you have photos of your Quarantine experience? Share them with Yearbook, we’re desperate for photos to document this year. Because of the stay-at-home order and social distancing, we want photos of your holiday celebrations, quarantine setup, or just any photos that show us how you’re surviving this crazy year. Wednesday’s Distribution Day 
Wednesdays are the distribution days for the library.  Currently, students can pick up Math Modules, I, II, III, and Common Core from the library as well on Wednesdays, until further notice. 

Athletic Department

Monterey County Science & Engineering Fair
To all the Science and Engineering students: You still have time to register and participate in the 2021 Monterey County Science & Engineering Fair.

ü  Each Spirit Day post needs to be uploaded before 8pm for credit.

ü  If your account is private, screenshot it and send that to us so we can repost it. The screenshot should say it’s been posted for at least an hour for it to count.

o   Tie Dye Night @4:30

§  To the students who picked up a FFA Kit- the supplies will be in the bag that you picked up on Wednesday, 2/10.  You will need the rubber bands, the large zip-lock bag, plastic gloves, the Greenfield FFA T-shirt, and your selected tie dye bottles.  Soak your shirt ahead of time!  Make sure to attend the meeting!

o   Pet/Stuffed Animal Day

§  If you got a FFA kit, there’s s’more snacks inside! If you didn’t, you should still attend the meeting for opportunities of extra credit and fun! Join us as we end our 2021 FFA week!

§  Post a picture of yourself wearing any FFA t-shirt/sweater or the official FFA jacket!
