LTELD 12 (Period 1)

Course Description

 

The 12th grade Long-term English Learner (LTEL) class is the Designated English Language Development course and is designed to support English Learner students who have not yet taken or have not yet scored an overall 4 on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) exam. The core of the class is to assist students to move towards proficiency in the English language through the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking as described in the English Language Development standards. Throughout the course, preparation for the annual ELPAC exam will be embedded within course content.
