CS Algebra 23-24 (Period Period 2 and Period 7)

Course Description

Core Support Algebra is designed for students who have an individualized education program and who have learning challenges that hinder their ability to access the general education math curriculum even with accommodations and supports. The course aims at developing algebraic skills using a variety of instructional strategies. Students will learn concepts of exponents, absolute values, equations, x and y intercepts, linear equations, slopes, monomials, polynomials, quadratic equations, square roots and more.  Activities and assignments are comprehensively prepared to help students understand basic concepts in Math which includes access to the core curriculum.  It enhances students’ skills necessary to become successful in this course.
