Course Description

  1. This is a core support class that is designed for the student to understand the basics of U.S. history. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the timeframes that meet the intent of the California Content Standards. It gives students the analytical skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal with the problems and materials of an in-depth study. Essay writing and critical thinking skills are emphasized. Supplementary reading, book reports, and a term paper are required.
