Attention GHS Students. Our next scheduled Saturday School is this Saturday, March 5, 2022. Saturday School begins at 8am and ends at 12pm. Report to the front of the campus gates and do not be late, or you will not be let into Saturday School. Students are expected to bring schoolwork with them for the entire 4-hours. During Saturday School, you can clear either 1 full day of unexcused absence, up to 7 single period absences, or 8 tardies. All the Saturday School dates for the remainder of the Spring 2022 semester are listed on the GHS website home page under upcoming events.
Vamos a La Playa take 2 Prom 2022 Saturday, April 30th, 2022. At Monterey Beach House. Check the Prom 22 Microsoft Team for more information. Prom tickets must be paid in full by April first. Attention AP students if you registered for AP exams, it is time to start making your payments. Remember that you must pay $5 per exam that you are taking. Payments can be made before school, during lunch, or after school with Ms. Rodriguez in room 508 or with Ms. Sanchez in the main office. All payments must be complete by the end of March. Not sure what to do after High School? GEAR UP’s got you. On March 1st, during lunch, Gear Up will be having their first Future Ambitions Club meeting, open to all students. Seniors, Please fill out a FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST form as soon as you know what College or University you will be attending in the Fall. Lidia will send transcripts out to those schools as soon as the 2nd Semester grades are posted. That will fulfill one of your future schools’ requirements. Don’t wait until the end. If you don’t fill one out and turn it in, she will not send anything. You can pick up a form from Miss Caro from(Talent Search)or from Lidia’s office.
