Hey there Bruins at the end of this bulletin you will see some daily post that will help you get through these next few weeks.  Keep your eye out for them and use them as your reminders!  

GHS Speech & Debate Team 
Congratulations to the GHS Speech and Debate Team for an outstanding weekend of performances. This year the team has competed only in major tournaments with hundreds and sometimes over two thousand participants. This weekend we participated in two very small localized tournaments with amazing results.  
The Keefer JV/Novice Tournament:  
Tournament Statistics: 11 Schools, 84 Competitors, 34 Judges  
Original Oratory - Novice Division (First Year Participants)  
FIRST PLACE - CONGRATULATIONS TO FRESHMAN ALEXANDER PANIAGUA. HE IS THE FIRST GREENFIELD HIGH STUDENT TO EVER WIN ANY EVENT, IN ANY DIVISION, OF NSDA SPEECH AND DEABTE COMPETITION.  
The Novice Oratory competition was a clean sweep for Greenfield High.  
First Place: Alex Paniagua  
Second Place: Alan Ortega  
Third Place: Eduardo Lopez  
The Keller Invitational Varsity Tournament:  
Tournament Statistics: 13 Schools, 64 Competitors, 25 Judges  
Sophomore Melissa Jaime was our top point person with a 3rd place finish in Dramatic Interpretation and a 4th place in Original Oratory.  
Sophomore Maya Avalos had an outstanding second place finish in Program Oral Interpretation. Junior Denzel Isidro had an outstanding second place finish in Original Oratory.  
Junior Alina Ramirez had en excellent tournament with a third place finish in Original Oratory and a fifth place finish in Program Oral Interpretation. Alina also became the first GHS student to top 150 points and reach the level of “Excellence” in the National Honor Society.  
On Sunday Sophomore Gabriel Cante had the top performance for our team in Lincoln-Douglas Debate with 2 wins and 2 losses. Melissa Jaime and Cristian Flores also had victories in L/D Debate.  
This was the final competition of 2020. The team will compete next at the Logan MLK Invitational on January 16-18, 2021.

Senior Second Semester Schedule Changes 
Only open period and completion of course changes will be considered. NO ELECTIVE CHANGES. Read this post carefully! 
You only have the first 2 weeks of the semester to make changes.

Planner/I.D.  
You may come by the office after school until 4 P.M. (any day of the week), you must state to security at check-in that you are here to pick up your ID & planner. 

Athletic Department

Please note that all "Physical Clearance" forms must be turned in person to the Athletic Director at Greenfield High School 

Cap & Gown Deadline Extended

FFA Meeting  
December 8th at 3:30 P.M  
Loteria night is December 11th at 5:30 P.M. 
If anyone hasn’t filled out the form yet to get their cards they can find if on their ag class team. 

English Learner Advisory Meeting

UCSC Gear Up Virtual Tutoring for 9th & 10th Graders 
Mondays & Wednesdays from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. 
Fridays from 3:10 P.M. to 4 P.M. 
Find the meeting link in the “GEAR UP Virtual Tutoring” channel in your Grade Counseling Team 
ETS is also hosting tutoring to ETS Students! 
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 5 P.M.
