Reminder GHS Students!!! 
IDs and Planners will be distributed in the front of the school by the main office.  Please enter campus through the Wellness Check area in the front part of campus next to the Main Office and remember to follow Social Distancing guidelines and wear masks. In order to follow safety and health guidelines because of COVID-19, we plan to limit the number of students on campus and will follow the schedule below: 

Wednesday Planner/student ID Pick Up Schedule for November 4th: 

8:50-9:40 – 12th grade          Last Names A-L 

10:35-11:25 – 12th grade     Last Names M-Z 

Attention SENIORS!  Cap and Gown Order Deadline!! 
Only 2 weeks left to order your Cap and Gowns.  The deadline is November 15th.  Make sure you get your orders in right away.  For more detailed information on how to order, go to the GHS website on the “Home” page; scroll down to “Bruin News” and access the link. 

Also, Senior photo, baby photo, and quotes are also under “Bruin News” where you access the link.  This deadline to submit is by Winter Break, which is December 20, 2020!  Don’t miss out, Seniors!!! 

If you still have money to turn in from our previous fundraisers, (candy boxes & popcorn) Mrs. Torres will be in campus on Wednesday November 4, 2020. I will be collecting pending money, be sure to bring the exact amount. This will be your last chance to turn in your money before you get billed for it. If you have any questions, you can send Mrs. Torres a message for more information regarding this. Go Class of 2021!!!!! 

Attention AP Students!  VERY IMPORTANT!! 

If you have not registered for your AP exams, remember that you must do so by November 10th!  If you need help with the process, please contact Ms. Sanchez or Ms. Rodriguez via chat for help. Remember that if you do not register by the deadline you will be susceptible to a $40 fee for late registration! 

ASB ACTIVITIES 
A big thank you to Ms. Cortes and the GHS ASB for sponsoring our fun and contests during the last two weeks!!  Hope you had a chance to participate and enjoy yourselves!  ASB ROCKS! 

Thank you, Bruins, for your participation on the October Activities!! The link Winner Circle Padlet will take you to a padlet that highlights all the winning posts.  Congratulations to the class of 2022 for participating in EVERY activity!! Juniors take home the October Spirit Trophy. 

Guidance Counselor Meetings for Freshmen and Seniors 
Freshman and Senior Meetings with your counselor will begin in the next several weeks. Students please remember that your parents will need to attend.  If you have any questions, please contact your counselor. 

This year's 3rd Annual College and Career Fair will be taking place virtually through Teams on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020. 

In the next few days we will be adding each of you to 3 new teams for the event. On this day you will attend 3 different workshops. You will find the schedule below. Additionally, please be aware that we will NOT be making any changes to your workshops.

La Feria Anual de Universidades y Carreras de este año se llevará a cabo virtualmente a través de Teams el miércoles 18 de noviembre de 2020. En los próximos días agregaremos a cada uno de ustedes a 3 nuevos equipos para el evento. En este día asistirás a 3 talleres diferentes. Encontrará el horario en esta publicacion. Además, tengan en cuenta que NO haremos ningún cambio en los talleres asignados.
