ASVAB Career Exploration
Attention Juniors or Seniors  the ASVAB Career Exploration exam will be on Wednesday, September 18th students 11th through 12th grade are encouraged to participate.  The ASVAB assesses your ability to learn new skills & to predicts success in a wide variety of military and civilian careers.  Through this exam you will learn about your strengths to help you make the right career decision.  Sign up with Ms. Rodriguez.  Deadline is September 13th.  

PSAT Exam
Attention Sophomores & Juniors who are interested in attending college after high school.  It is time to sign up for the PSAT exam.  The PSAT is a great way to expose yourself to standardized testing and prepare for the SAT.  This years exam will take place on October 16th and will cost $17.  If you are interested in signing up, stop by and see Ms. Rodriguez in the counseling office.  Deadline to sign up is September 13th.  

Community Hours Opportunity
  • Get 3 hours of community hours on Saturday, September 21st from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Yanks Club House by the RV Park for more information see Mrs. Aguirre in the library or talk to Irene Garcia.  
  • P.T.A. from Arroyo Seco school is looking for volunteers to help with their "Fiesta Night" even on Friday, September 13th from 5:30 P.M. to 8 P.M.  See Ms. Sanchez if interested in volunteering and getting community hours for this event.

Looking for a job?  The Greenfield Science Community Workshop is now hiring for the position of high school assistant.  If interested, stop by the workshop to pick up an application.

Garden Club
  • There will be a Garden Club Meeting this coming Monday, September 9th in Mrs. Brusch's  classroom in room 203.

SAT 
Attention students!  SAT fee waivers are now in, you can stop by and pick them up with Ms. Rodriguez.

ELD AND LTELD Classes
Attention students in ELD and LTEL classes we will be having an ELAC meeting this Thursday, September 12th in the Student Union at 6:30 P.M.  don't forget to remind your parents.

CSF
All CSF members, officer elections are Tuesday, September 10th at lunch in room 607 with Ms. Mendez.  Come by and cast your ballot.

Homecoming Applications
Homecoming court applications are now available in room 206 before school and after school.  Freshmen will need a lord and lady to represent their class Sophomores who will be the Duke and Dutchess? Juniors, you are now Prince and Princess seniors its your year to shine who will be homecoming King and Queen for the class of 2020?  Applications are due Wednesday, September 25th by 2 P.M. in room 206.  

Traveling to a Foreign Land
Have you been dreaming of traveling to a foreign land?  Like Costa Rica or Panama?  Spots for a Spring Break 2021 trip are open!  Head to room 102 at 11:50 A.M. on Tuesday, September 17th for an informational meeting.  

Attention Sophomores
Join us for a meeting this, Thursday, September 12th during lunch in room 202 so we can discuss homecoming week.

Early Dismissal
JV football and Concession workers early dismissal at 2:04 P.M. after 6th period not during.  

Field Hockey 
Has been rescheduled to Monday, September 30th.  
No field hockey practice Friday, September 13th be ready for Salinas game on Monday.
