Class Officer Applications
Would you like to be class president? ASB President? Treasurer, secretary? Now is the time to run for office. Class officer applications for grades 9 through 11 will be available TODAY, before school or after school with Mrs. Cortes. Completed applications are due Thursday, May 2, 2019 before 3:15 P.M. There will be a mandatory meeting for all candidates Friday, May 3, 2019 at the beginning of lunch in room 206. Elections will be May 13th and 14th at lunch.
Attention AP students, don't forget to pay for your AP exams. The secondary deadline is May 2nd. Exam fees are no $7 per exam. Please see Ms. Rodriguez for any questions.
Community Hours Deadline
Seniors! Community hours deadline is May 24th. Please don't hesitate to turn in your hours to Mrs. Aguirre in the library.

AP & Honors for 2019-2020 School Year

Last Blood Drive
Bruins! On May 10th, we will be having our last blood drive. In order to sign up you must find Aligha Ramey & Brisa Diaz. If you are under the age of 17 you must get your permission slip signed by your parents & turn it in.

This month's "Classified Champion" has been an example of Bruin Pride by always being welcoming to students and staff members. This person takes great pride showcasing and displaying our campus. They go out of their way to support students by supporting clubs and making sure that staff have the opportunity to spend quality time with each other. Due to their positivity the Classified Champion Award goes to Ms. Isablel Aguirre.
This month's "Tireless Teacher" exemplifies Bruin Pride because of the energy that they bring to the Greenfield High School. This teacher is among the first ones on campus and they always make themselves available to students. This teachers has great rapport with both student and staff and the energy and enthusiasm that they carry shows in their classroom. This teacher is describes as hard working and caring. Due to their caring personality, their enormous Bruin spirit, and commitment to GHS students, this month's Tireless Teacher goes to Mr. Green!

Migrant Education Speech & Debate Tournament
On Friday, May 3rd our own Beatriz Bautista Ramirez will travel to Ventura to compete at the State. Migrant Education Speech & Debate Tournament in 11th grade Spanish prepared and extemporaneous speech, representing GHS, Region 16. Adelante Beatriz! We know you'll do a great job, we are so proud of you!

Principal Honor Roll & Honor Roll Certificates
Students, if you are on the Honor Roll or Principal's Honor Roll and you have not yet picked up your certificate from Mr. Lynch. Please pick it up by Friday, May 3rd. Any certificates left at 4 P.M. afternoon will be sent to your cum file.
Final Transcripts for Seniors
Important information for Seniors, it is very important for you to fill out a yellow final transcript request form. This form will allow GHS to send your final transcripts to the college, tech school or university you will be attending this coming Fall. If you don't fill out, it will not go out. Lidia will be gone in the summer and there will be no one else to help you with this matter. Find a form with Lidia, The Gear-UP office and Talent Search office.
Saturday School tomorrow, please meet in front of the gate before 8 A.M. You must bring schoolwork with you to Saturday School, and complete assignments in order to receive credit for attending.
