Prom tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 25th in room 206 with Mrs.Cortes before school or after school. Ticket prices are $120 for individuals and $240 for couples before winter break. After break, the price will go up. Secure your seat with a 50 dollar nonrefundable notransferable deposit per person. Prom 2019 will be a four-hour cruise of the San Francisco bay aboard the Fume Blanc Saturday, May 4th 2019. There are a limited number of seats so do not wait for the last minute to secure your seat. Attention students the MECHA organization from CAL POLY is hosting a Chicano/a Youth Conference on February 16th. This conference is aimed at promoting higher education among Latino students by offering workshops to help increase the understanding of college application process, student life, and career possibilities. The event is free so if you would like to attend please see Ms. Rodriguez. Deadline to sign up is Friday, December 14th.
The counseling department will be hosting a Wellness Week during finals week. On Monday, come join us in the wrestling room for Yoga with Ms. Radcliff. Tuesday we will be doing art therapy in room 201 with Ms. Tinajero. Wednesday we will have board games in the student union after school from 12-1 P.M. Thursday we will have meditation in the wrestling room with Ms. Radcliff. These activities are available to students as well as staff, so please come and join us for some distressing activities!
Come and support your friends and classmates at the music department holiday concert this Thursday, December 13th. Guitar students will perform at 6 P.M. and band and choir students will perform at 7 P.M. We hope to see you at the concert on Thursday!

Grad Night payments are now being accepted. Ms. Cisneros will be in the office at lunch time on Monday's and Wednesday beginning January 7th. A $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is due by January 24th at noon to secure your spot. Don't miss out!

Greenfield FFA had an amazing day last week, many FFA members competed in King City in different public speaking contests. A special congratulations to the following people: Ana Valencia 1st place Impromptu (Moving on to the regional level) Blas Trujillo 4th place Impromptu (Moving on to the regional level) Heleina Matelau will be competing at the regional level in creed, Ivan Trujillo 5th place in extemporaneous public speaking, (he will also be competing at the regional level in march) and Brandi Zepeda 5th place in prepared public speaking. Diana Trujillo and Almendra Ochoa also competed in the Creed, and Sarah Rios competed in extemporaneous. Congratulations to all!
