Prom Tickets
Prom tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 25th in room 206 with Mrs.Cortes before school or after school. Ticket prices are $120 for individuals and $240 for couples before winter break. After break, the price will go up. Secure your seat with a 50 dollar nonrefundable notransferable deposit per person. Prom 2019 will be a four-hour cruise of the San Francisco bay aboard the Fume Blanc Saturday, May 4th 2019. There are a limited number of seats so do not wait for the last minute to secure your seat. Hope to see you there!

Counseling Department: Attention Seniors!
The CSin3 years program is now accepting applications for Fall 2019. CSin3 is a 3 year program that leads to a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering. Students take year-round classes and have access to resources at both Hartnell College and Cal State Monterey Bay. For more information check out the CSin3 website or see Ms. Rodriguez for an informational pamphlet.

Blood Drive Announcement
Congratulations, Bruins in the year 2017, Bruins donated 138 units of blood earning us the title of Premier Blood Partners with the American Red Cross.  Way to go Bruins! Let's do it again!
GHS has a set a goal of 60 units donated during our November 2nd blood drive.  To have a successful drive, we need to meet our goal or exceed our goal.  The only way to meet our goal is for you to make an appointment to be a donor.  If you would like to help us reach our goal, sign up for an appointment with Aligha Ramey or Joanna Chavez at lunch or after school.  
You must be 16 yrs old with parent permission.  If you are 17 or older you only need to make an appointment.  All people participating in the drive should bring a valid school or state ID with your birthdate.
To speed up your registration process visit RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions 24 hours before your appointment.

College Future Scholarship
Attention seniors if you attended the first College Future Scholarship workshop the second workshop will be on Monday, November 5th in english for you and a parent, Thursday, October November 6th is in Spanish.

AP Civics Test
Attention seniors currently taking economics AP.  Please don't forget to stop by to sign up for AP Civics test with Ms. Rodriguez.  Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 31st.  

Yearbook
Happy Halloween Greenfield High students!  Yearbook is welcoming you to our Halloween photo shoot during lunch and after school.  Is going to be Franken-tastic!

Grizzly Academy Applications
If interested in starting Grizzly Academy in January, you must send your completed application by November 17th.  See Ms. Sanchez for more details.  

Link Crew Movie Night
Attention all freshmen, Link Crew would like to invite you to our spooktacular, Movie Night at 2 P.M.  It'll be Skela-fun to see all you ghouls there.

CSUMB GEAR UP
  • Attention Seniors!  Gear UP will be having open lab Wednesday, October 31st after school in room 106. 
  • GEAR UP still has seats available for College Night at Hartnell November 7th.  Stop by the GEAR Up office to pick up a permission slip.  
PBIS 
Is that time again.  PBIS would like to announce this months tickets winners.  Congratulations to Sergio Aguirre, Beatriz Bautista, Alex Argueta, Erika Martinez, Elvie Salindo, Ana-Dely Garcia, Jennifer Navaro, Rosa Ventura, Benito De Jesus, and Gustavo Cervantes. 

Journalism Club
The Journalism Club would like to congratulate Mr. Villaseñor, who received the most donations for our Halloween Costume Contest.
Mr. Villaseñor dressed up and ready for picture time at lunch.  Thank you, Mr. Villaseñor and to all teachers who competed.  Ms. Lazzaroni, Ms. Cisneros, Mr. Francis, and Mr. Sanchez.  Thank you, also, to everyone who donated for your favorite teachers!  Happy Halloween, Bruins!

"Classified Champion"
This month's "Classified Champion" demonstrates the Bruin Way on a daily basis.  This person goes above and beyond to make sure that things are running smoothly.  This person is always welcoming and willing to help students and staff with a smile.  This person is the definition of a heard worker.  And Classified Champion for the month of October is Ms. Maria Villagomez.

"Tireless Teacher"
This month's "Tireless Teachers" exemplifies Bruin Pride by having a positive attitude in the classroom.  This person is always supportive and encourages her students to keep learning.  This person is patient and has a great sense of humor.  This person is a great team player and you can really see that the students enjoy being in the classroom.  Due to their patience and commitment to GHS students the Tireless Teacher award for the month of October goes of Mrs. Mateo.

ACT & SAT
Attention Seniors, if you are planning to register for the ACT and SAT the deadline for the December date is November 2nd, don't forget to sign up.

Seniors who ordered shirts pick them up at lunch on Friday, November 2nd outside of Lidia's office.  +

Community Service Hours Opportunity
November 17th Greenfield Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Lions Hall from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M.  Please see Mrs. Aguirre in library for sign-in sheet.

Saturday School
Please meet in front of the gate "before" 8 A.M.  You must bring schoolwork with you to Saturday School and complete assignments to be able to get credit for attending Saturday School.
