Suicide Awareness
Attention Greenfield High Students and Staff, notice the yellow ribbons around campus?  They symbolize suicide awareness.  We want to encourage students and staff to show your support and wear yellow through next week.
-Over the past 15 years, the total suicide rate has increased 24% from 10.5 to 13.0 per 100,000 people.

Seniors
The College Futures Monterey County Scholarship Workshop will be held February 5th at 3:30 P.M. in the library.
-The Monterey Audubon Society is sponsoring three scholarships for students focusing in the field of natural sciences.  If students are interested they are to pick up an application at Student Services.

Blood Drive Success
Good Morning Bruins and Congratulations on a successful blood drive!  Bruins, donated 46 units Friday, that is 138 lives saved.  Way to Go Bruins!  Our next drive is May 11, 2018.

Prom Tickets
There are less than 75 prom tickets left.  Secure your ticket today with a $50 dollar deposit.  Final payments are due, March 29th.  The cost of prom is $160 for single and $280 for couples.  Prom is April 28th at the Madonna Inn.  Join us in the Enchanted Garden Prom 2018.

Class of 2019
Class of 2019 meeting Wednesday, February 7th in room 609 during lunch.  Let's talk about fundraising and trips.  Students may bring their lunch and ideas.

Sadie Hawkins Dance
Friday, February 9th is the Sadie Hawkins Dance.  It's Ladies Choice!  The theme is 1950's Diner, join us at the Hop!  Tickets are $5 pre-sale with a leadership student or $6 at the door per person.  Doors open at 5:45 P.M. and close at 7:30 A.M. A school ID is required.

Honor Roll and Principle Roll
The Honor Roll and Principle Roll will be posted Monday, February 5th on the school website.  Certificates will be distributed by our principle beginning Monday, February 5th.

Sophomores
Any sophomores interested in being part of the PBIS Committee (Bruin Way).  Please come see Mrs. Trujillo and Mrs. Morales.

Physics Club
There will be a Physics Club Meeting, Tuesday, February 6th during lunch in Mr. Barge's room.

ETS
ETS will be having a field trip to UC Davis on February 27, 2018.  Permission slips are due Thursday, February 15,2018 and students are to turn them in as soon as possible.

GHS Athletics
Anybody planning on being on the 2018 GHS Bruins Track & Field team needs to attend the informational meeting in the gym on Wednesday, February 14th at 11:45 A.M. during lunch.  Doors will shut at 11:45 A.M.

Class of 2020
In order to begin our amazing Junior year we need to fundraise.  Leadership and your peers have agreed to request $25 from every sophomore.  Please bring your contribution to Mr. Francis by February 21st, room 605.  Thank you for your support!  Your president, Eliza Rodriguez.  

Grad Night
All Grad Night Participants the remaining balance of $60 is due March 23rd.
-Seniors there will be a senior meeting on February 16th in room 616.  All seniors should be there!

Volleyball
All interested volleyball players, boys or girls!  Greenfield Club Volleyball has a parent meeting 5:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 15th.  Please see Mr. Francis for a flyer.  Practice starts February 27th, 3:30  P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Saturday School
Please meet Mr. Cohn by the front gate no later than 7:50 A.M.  The gate is closed and locked at 8 A.M.  Please bring school work with you to Saturday School.  Don't miss the chance to make-up your absences. 

FFA Week
Attention all FFA members!  FFA week is here please show your love and support towards the agriculture industry as well as agriculture education.  Show your support by participating in our dress up days!  We also encourage students to participate in lunch activities.
