Community Hours Opportunity
- Christmas in the Park on December 8th at Gazebo Park at 9 A.M. Please see Mrs. Aguirre in library for sign-in sheet and further information.
Prom tickets will go on sale Thursday, October 25th in room 206 with Mrs.Cortes before school or after school. Ticket prices are $120 for individuals and $240 for couples before winter break. After break, the price will go up. Secure your seat with a 50 dollar nonrefundable notransferable deposit per person. Prom 2019 will be a four-hour cruise of the San Francisco bay aboard the Fume Blanc Saturday, May 4th 2019. There are a limited number of seats so do not wait for the last minute to secure your seat. Hope to see you there!
Attention Juniors and Seniors
If you are in need of community service hours Mary Chapa School is looking for volunteers for their Winter Festival. The even will take place Wednesday, December 12th from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. If you are interested in signing up, see Ms. Rodriguez by December 6th.

The Grizzly Youth Academy is still open, if you are interested in attending in January see Ms. Sanchez as soon as possible.

GHS Drama Students
Come and see GHS Drama students! This Wednesday & Thursday at 6 P.M. in the student union, GHS Drama proudly presents two plays: "Pirate vs Ninja" and "Swoop Story" play performances are free & all are welcome to attend.
Greenfield High Debate
Congratulations to the Greenfield High Debate Team, which competed Saturday in a CFL Tournament in San Jose. The team of Lizet Lazaro and Katherine Martinez won 2 of 3 rounds and received Honorable Mention, only 1/2 a point from a Trophy.
College Club, Dance Club, Heart of Sharing
- These clubs will be hosting a movie night fundraiser on Friday, December 7th from 5-7:30 P.M. Students can purchase pre-sale tickets for $3 from any club member.
- There will be a meeting on Friday, December 7th at the library during lunch.
Attention students who took the ACT this semester, your score reports have arrived. Please come see Ms. Rodriguez before school or after school to pick them up.
Choir students will be selling carol grams. If you want a special someone to get a Christmas song sung to them during 5th period on Thursday, December 6th talk to any student in choir or see Mr. Huot. The grams will be $3 for a person to person $4 for anonymous. The gram will also include a candy cane and chocolate.
There will be a Physics Club Meting on Friday, December 7th.
FFA Holiday Coloring
FFA Holiday Caroling this Friday, December 7th at 5 P.M. Remember to get your permission slip in to participate in spreading holiday cheer!
Students need to meet in front of the gate "before" 8 A.M. Students must bring schoolwork with them and complete the assignments to be able to get credit for attending Saturday School.
Come support boys basketball on Friday, December 7th, JV will start at 5:30 P.M. and varsity will begin at 7 P.M. all students that come with an I.D. enter for free!
Attention students the MECHA organization from CAL POLY is hosting a Chicano/a Youth Conference on February 16th. This conference is aimed at promoting higher education among Latino students by offering workshops to help increase the understanding of college application process, student life, and career possibilities. The event is free so if you would like to attend please see Ms. Rodriguez. Deadline to sign up is Friday, December 14th.
The counseling department will be hosting a Wellness Week during finals week. On Monday, come join us in the wrestling room for Yoga with Ms. Radcliff. Tuesday we will be doing art therapy in room 201 with Ms. Tinajero. Wednesday we will have board games in the student union after school from 12-1 P.M. Thursday we will have meditation in the wrestling room with Ms. Radcliff. These activities are available to students as well as staff, so please come and join us for some distressing activities!
