Field Hockey Team
Come out today, Monday, September 25th and support the Lady Bruins Field Hockey team as they play Monterey at home.  

GEAR UP
Attention Sophomores and Juniors, if you are signed up for the PSAT, stop by room 206 for an English prep workshop from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.  
-If you sign up for the PSAT, don't forget we will be having pre-registration on Wednesday, September 27th after school.  This is a mandatory meeting!  Don't forget Wednesday, September 27th after school at the student union.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors
If you signed up for the PSAT, stop by Room 401 for a Math Prep Workshop from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M.

Attention all students
Are you interested in learning about Mexican Culture?  If so, Hartnell College is offering a short 8 week course starting October 14th, stop by the GEAR UP office for more information or register.  

Attention Athletes
Do you need help with your homework?  If so, stop by the library side lab on Tuesdays, and Thursdays during lunch time.

Congratulations JV and Varsity Football Team
Congratulations to both the JV and Varsity Football teams on their MTAL victories over Harbor on Saturday, September 23rd, outstanding performances were recorded by L.J. Richarson, Andy Espinosa, Jose Uribe, Victor Compean, Andy Hernandez, and Rodrigo Frias.

ADT 100 Diesel Engine Technology Class
Class is cancelled tonight, Monday, September 25th only!  Classes will resume tomorrow September 26th.

Homecoming
Homecoming Dance tickets are now on sale.  Tickets are $5 dollars in advance and $6 dollars at the door.  The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 7th.  Doors open at 5:30 P.M. and close at 7 P.M.  You must have a valid GHS ID to enter.  See a leadership students or Mrs. Cortes to purchase your ticket today.  
-Homecoming is just around the corner.  Tuesday, October 3rd is the start of all Homecoming festivities.  This year's slogan is "GHS Where Dreams Come True"
Dress up days start October 3rd.  Dress up and earn your class spirit points by being counted the first 10 minutes of lunch.  Freshmen meet in front of the Library, sophomores meet in front the Student Union, Juniors meet in front of the AG Building and seniors meet at Bruno.

Community Service Hours Opportunities
Thanksgiving Dinner on November 19, 2017 at the Lions Club at 618 Apple Ave, free to all and Greenfield Christmas in the Park, Saturday, December 2, 2017.  See Mrs. Aguirre for times and sign-in sheet.
-Greenfield Harvest Festival Saturday, October 14th and Sunday October 15th.  Please see Mrs. Aguirre for an application.
-DARE TO CARE CAR SHOW
When:  October 1, 2017
Where:  Greenfield American Legion
Hours:  1st Shift 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
     2nd Shift 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Childcare
Any students interested in helping Ms. Patty with childcare for Wednesday, September 27th at 6:00 P.M. You get to earn community service.  Please sign up with Ms. Patty at the office, before school, during lunch, or after school.

ETS
ETS will be having a field trip to San Jose State, October 20, 2017.  Please pick up the permission slips at the ETS office and check your email deadline is October 12, 2017.  

Credit Recovery
Attention all after school Credit Recovery participants.  We will not be meeting, today, Tuesday September 26th.  You can still use the computers in the library main lab after school today or work from home.

Seniors
Seniors wanting to go to Grad Nite stop by Mr. Sanchez's room 616 to sign up.

Greenfield FFA
Greenfield FFA had a successful day at the San Benito Fair.
Aligha Ramey reserve champion meat pen, first place sr rabbit showmanship, and best in breed for her netherland dwarf and California doe.  
Sarah Rios second place sr showmanship.
Kat Hernandez 3rd place sr showmanship.
Issac Martinez 4th place sr showmanship and first place novice showmanship.
Sarah's and lays rabbit Mr. Fluffy won his class and Sarah's rabbit Berenice won best of breed rabbit Rosie also won her class.

Student Drivers!
If you want to park anywhere on Greenfield High School property, you must have a student parking permit.  It must be this year's permit, last years is no longer valid.  See Mr. Frase right away for an application.  Parking rules are being enforced.
